Located in eastern Arizona’s White Mountains, the community of Greer is a mountain playground for outdoor-lovers in search of year-round activities with a gorgeous backdrop. The alpine beauty of Greer lies at an elevation of 8,500 feet. Boasting a myriad of pristine lakes, streams, and pine forests, Greer is a vacationer’s dream. Some 200,000 people visit this charming town each year; it is especially favored during the summer months when Arizona’s residents hunt for cooler climes. Greer Az is located near the New Mexico border about 240 miles from Phoenix, 288 miles from Tucson and 220 miles from Albuquerque.

The average high temperatures are a very refreshing 77 degrees F during the summer months of May-September; 57 degrees F during October-December and 53 degree F during January-April. The average winter snowfall is about 8 feet and the average summer rainfall is about 8 inches. Greer is located in the beautiful Greer Valley Meadow where two rivers converge.
